TM6DDY - From Commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy Landings (ACTIVE)

Commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy Landings (D-Day, 6 June 1944),  members of the  Caen Radio Club  will  be active  as TM6DDAY on 6-20 June.  They will operate CW, SSB  and digital modes on 80-6 metres  from the Merville Gun Battery site  situated on the eastern flank of the landing area codenamed Sword.  addition,  a team of operators from Cherbourg  will be active as TM6JDD on 6 June. [TNX 425 DX NEWS]
