DA26WARD is the special callsign for  the DARC Team SES  to promote World Amateur Radio Day between 1 March and 30 April.  is celebrated  annually on 18 April,  the day when the  IARU was formed  in 1925.  The theme for this year's WARD is  "Advancing  the  Spirit  of  Amateur Radio Through Innovation".[TNX 425 DX NEWS]
